Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem are famously known as The sister island. Koh Rong is the second-largest island in Cambodia. There are many spectacular tourist locations on Koh Rong. The main tourist beach Koh Touch creates a vibrant party atmosphere, with lots of hotels, bars, and night clubs. The quiet, less-busier beaches like. Lonely Beach

Possibly the best beach on the islands is Lonely Beach to the northern side of Koh Rong. Although it is not in the most convenient location, it really is absolutely stunning. The small alcove feels like a real island-paradise, with crystal clear ocean waters, soft white sandy beaches, and tall palm trees all around. The atmosphere is quite serene – so peaceful and quiet with just a few crickets chirping in the background. There are very few people around, so you feel quite isolated and secluded out in a truly beautiful setting.

4K Beach

4K beach now has  several resorts built along its wonderful stretch of white sand, sparkling turquoise ocean, and tropical jungle wilderness. What’s great about this beach, apart from the stunning scenery and inviting pristine waters, is that it’s a short walk away from the main tourist area on Koh Touch of Koh Rong . Walk on this beach will need to go off the actual beach itself into the forest out onto a large beach expanse about 4km or so – hence the name 4K with very little development.

White Beach

 White Beach is a  10 minute walk from the main pier on Koh Touch in Koh Rong. The convenience of White Beach and the quality of the resorts around this area makes it for a comfort holidays and despite this far side of Koh Touch is not a party location.. The beach on this part of the touristy stretch is clean and well-kept, with soft white sands and beautiful clear ocean waters.

Long Beach (Sok San)

Long Beach also referred to as Sok San Beach is undoubtedly one of its finest, with the seven-kilometre stretch of blindingly white sand that crunches beneath your feet flanked by deliciously clear waters. Located on the western side of Koh Rong, Long Beach is home to small Khmer fishing village 

Palm Beach

Palm Beach is one of the best value for money resort on Koh Rong. Overlooking the famous Song Saa Private Island and around the corner from Lonely Beach, Palm Beach, as the name suggests, is a palm-covered paradise getaway.

Pagoda Beach

Pagoda Beach is a  preserved beach that extends just over half a mile on the Koh Rong island's southern-most tip, facing the direction of the rising sun. Complete with fine white sand and turquoise-hued waters, the beach also features a Khmer-era pagoda near a mangrove, making for a true postcard setting. Lining the beach, you'll find five charming hotels.

Tui Beach

Tui Beach, also known as Koh Touch Beach, is probably the busiest place in Koh Rong. It's a good choice for those who want the desert island setting without isolation. The beach is full of bars, restaurants, night clubs, guesthouses, and bungalows giving Koh Touch the reputation for being a lively party destination.

Coconut Beach

Coconut Beach is located along the shores of Koh Rong Island, Coconut Beach Bungalows offers simple yet tranquil accommodations with spectacular views of the sea.

Police Beach

Named because the island's police station is located here, Police Beach, just south of Koh Tuch, hosts wild all-night parties on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and during full moons. A must check out area for party animals.

Snorkelling 

Koh Rong is home to some of the most exquisite marine life making Snorkelling a very popular activity

Scuba Diving

This is your best way to see some of the wonderful miniature eco-systems, coral, seahorses, and nudibranchs that are abundant on the islands.

Jet Skiing 

For some fast paced action on the beautiful clear waters, you can hire a Jetski

Windsurfing

Further out away from the main swimming areas there can be a bit of wind, which is great for activities like windsurfing.

Kayaking

On a nice day the water can be calm with very little waves – ideal for Kayaking to a small island for snorkelling or to the Mangrove River on Long Set and 4K Beach.

Paddle Boarding

If the adventure sounds like too much work than take advantage of the beautiful calm waters with some gentle paddle boarding. 

Blob Jump

Try  something very different and exciting. – You jump from a height of 4-6 metres onto a giant blow up ‘blob’. You’ll then move to the opposite end and a friend will bounce you back up into the air and into the water beneath.

Glowing Plankton

Koh Rong’s bioluminescent plankton are a wonderful sight to behold at night times. Although this phenomenon is abundant on the islands, the glowing plankton can only be seen in places with very little light pollution.

Zip Line

High Point Adventure park in Koh Rong has the entire course consisting of suspension bridges, self-moving devices like the flying surf and the zip lines. 

Rope Park

High Point Adventure park in Koh Rong has 20 ropes hang between the trees, each one presenting a different challenge & obstacle course up among the trees, it is a sort of ‘jungle gym’

Boat Trip

Hit the crystal waters with Boat Tours for a full day of fun. This long tail excursion gives you glimpses into island life that you couldn’t possibly experience from the shore. In between the best snorkel spots and whitest sand beaches, you’ll have the chance to visit local villages.

Jungle Trekking

Long Beach, the gorgeous white sand stretch as far as you can see, is on the other side of the mountain from Koh Toch Beach and is certainly worth the voyage. The hike gets your heart pounding as it’s a bit steep at times with beautiful green jungle scenery.

Koh Rong Party

The full moon Koh Rong party is held for six nights each year during high season, and so is the black moon Koh Rong party. Each party is approximately two weeks after the other, which means that everyone who is visiting the island has an excellent chance of attending at least one of them. The Koh Rong party on Police Beach takes place every Wednesday and Saturday and the fun, dancing, and music begins at ten in the evening and continues until the sun rises in the morning sky. The international DJs change for every party, so there is always someone new to listen to while enjoying a free drink and free shots. This Koh Rong party even includes fire performances, 3D art work, and psychedelic visuals.
