Ream National Park Sihanoukville Tour
Day Tour - Ream National Park Sihanoukville
The Preah Sihanouk "Ream" National Park is around 27 km from Sihanoukville, on the way back to Phnom Penh. It was established in the early 1990s to protect its threatened areas. Ream Park is one of the seven national parks in the country. It encompasses over 15,000 hectares with mangrove forests, tropical jungles, and more then 150 bird species. It is also known for its monkey population. The park has a marine habitat too, and aside from beaches, there are also boat trips being offered through mangrove forest channels. Tourists can have a walking tour of the mountains and see the numerous animal and plant life. As this requires guests to trek through the jungle, physical preparedness is important.
